Originally hailing from Cincinnati, Sam began playing piano at the age of four. Sam continued his studies and began playing professionally around the age of 15. In the years since, Sam has performed at the Ithaca Piano Institute in NY, twice at Brevard Music Festival in NC, and at the Schlern Music Festival in Schlern, Italy. After receiving his degree in classical piano, Sam dove into Columbus' local music scene. Sam now enjoys exploring the genres of jazz, gospel, hiphop, on of course, pop. Sam's heroes are Cory Henry, Herbie Hancock, Robert Glasper, Rachmaninoff and Chopin. Sam is the organist and music director at Eastview United Methodist Church and teaches at Guitar Center Studios on Morse Rd.
